10 Limiting Beliefs About Money, How to change them and cultivate the right beliefs.

Your beliefs about money are a key element in determining how much money you’ll be able to make, and how much of that money you’ll be able to keep.
Here are 10 limiting beliefs about money and how to change them.

1. Money is the root of all evil.
Money is not the root of all evil the love of money is. All the same, is there any one that doesn't love money? The love of money is the root of all evil not the fruit. But, you can be rich and still be righteous. You can be poor and still be evil.
Money is just a neutral medium that follows along with how you use it. It is your responsibility to make the best out of it. One of the rich formula is the abilty to subdue money. You must learn to subdue money, to control it and not let it control you. That's where attitude comes in. Use money and don't let money use you.

2. Money is not that important. It’s only money.

This limiting belief about money expresses that you don’t take money seriously enough. It’s not one of your priorities. But this is the exact reason why you haven’t achieved a satisfying situation with your money yet.
Treat money with respect and give it the time it deserves. Then “it” will respect you.
Money is good. It is important. Without money, daily survival — not to mention further development — is impossible. So we are not even questioning its importance. At the same time, it is wrong to consider money a god or a substance endowed with some power of its own. To think that money is everything, and that just by having lots of it all our problems will be solved is a serious mistake
"...money answerest all things"
So stop justifying your inability to make money and start making money.

3. Money is there to be spend.
This belief comes from not understanding that in order to create financial abundance you actually have to save money. If you spend all the money you earn, instead of saving and investing it, you will never create the financial abundance that you could have.Spending money on nice things has its place, you should enjoy your lifestyle. But don’t overdo it. You have to make sure to get into the habit of saving and investing money.
4. Money is hereditary. You have to be born rich or into a rich family to be rich.
Many believes to be rich, you have to be born rich or born into a wealthy home and since they were not, it means they were not destined to be rich. That's a limiting belief. We create our lives. prosperity is a choice. You choose your properity as well as your poverty.
So take responsibility for your own life and learn to improve your financial life today.
The “poor dad” mentality states that your wealth depends on your family of origin: to be rich, you have to be born rich.  “Rich dad” espoused the view that being rich or poor is something that you learn. When you have the right belief system and you acquire the necessary knowledge on how to create, build, and protect wealth, you will become rich even if you were not born into a wealthy family.

5. You have to work (too) hard to get wealthy
You don’t get wealthy by working hard (only), you get wealthy by doing the right things. And it all starts with adopting the right mindset towards money.
And one part of it is to look for the smart way to get wealthy. Not in a sense of looking for a quick fix or doing questionable things, but by understanding the rich formula and applying them.
This means understanding how you can create real and lasting value for others and then offering it for a good price. This is true weather you are a business-owner, self-employed or employed.

6. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
This is really a big excuse. It is especially an disempowering belief because it gives away your responsibility to care for your money situation. And whenever you give up responsibility you also lose power and influence over your life. Your financial reality is entirely up to you and
Everything you need to create financial abundance is already inside you.
7. I am supposed to be made rich (by my parents, government, society,  etc)
This is what I called the entitlement mentality. These set of people depends on others to be rich and when that doesn't doesnt happen they blame everybody for it except themselves. Nobody owe you anything. Not your parents, not the govenment. prosperity is your responsibility.

8. It takes money to make money.
This phrase is limiting at best and destructive at worst. The truth is you have to have great ideas that solve problems to make money. If you do, you will attract money like a magnet. Wealthy investors are always on the lookout for the next big investment they can sink their teeth into.
Rich dad said "You don't need money to make money, what you need is words and the good news is, words are free"
So, you dont need money to make money, you need ideas, you need a job, you need words, you need skills, can use other peoples money, etc.
9. More money more problems.
Another myth among the masses is the idea that millionaires are workaholics overloaded with so many problems they don’t have time to enjoy life. This is another excuse the middle class uses to justify being broke. It’s as if they’re looking for a reason to avoid success by making it seem unattractive. The truth is the more money you have, the more control you have over every aspect of your life. The more money you have, the fewer problems you have to personally address. While the masses are staying up at night worrying about their problems, millionaire are fast asleep knowing everything will be taken care of.
When it comes to money, the best advice is to always look at it from a consciousness of freedom, possibility, opportunity and abundance. Never look at money from a fear and scarcity point of view.

10. Money is not for people like me. I don't deserve to be rich. I don't have what it takes.
We all deserve money, we all deserve to be rich. You have to educate yourself about money. Study money. Then  improvements will follow naturally.

How to change your beleief system
Step 1: Write the limiting belief down.
Play detective and follow your thoughts and emotions to discover the limiting beliefs that hold you back. Put them on paper and stare them in the face! You might note how strong each belief is and what emotions they elicit in you.
Step 2: Acknowledge that these are beliefs, not truths!
This is often the hardest step. “But, but, my limitations are real!” Here’s the place where choice comes in. Which are you more interested in: defending your limitations to the death or achieving your goals and desires? As author Evelyn Waugh wrote, “When we argue for our limitations, we get to keep them.” You choose.
Step 3: Try on a different belief.
Use your imagination and try on a belief that is aligned with what you want. It might be something like, “My financial difficulties in the past have taught me so much that I’m fully prepared to handle them now!” Or, “Now that I’ve been in an unhealthy relationship I’ve learned what to look for in a happy, loving partner!”
Step 4: Take different action.
This might feel scary, but act as if your new belief is true. In other words, if you really are the kind of man women adore, how would you act at parties? Who might you ask out? If you really are capable and have learned a tremendous amount from past financial difficulties, what steps would you take?  If you really are the kind of person who eats healthy food, what will you put in your grocery cart?

10 WAYS TO DEVELOP AN UNSHAKABLE BELIEF IN YOURSELF

What does it mean to have an unshakable belief in yourself?

It means you choose to have a winning attitude. You force your mind to see the positive opportunity in every experience, negative or positive. As you look at your core beliefs about yourself, you will see those beliefs reflected back to you in every area of life from finances, reputation, success and love. People with an unshakable belief in who they are focus their minds on opportunities, the bigger
picture, patience, resilience, and achieving.
They strive to feel deeply happy and satisfied in their lives. People with
winning attitudes deeply believe everything they set their mind to is something they can achieve.

1. Think positive.
Each of us has the power to choose and to direct our thoughts in any direction we want. Thinking optimistically keeps life flowing forward in the direction of our thoughts because our actions naturally follow our thoughts. For positive thinking to work we cannot passively think and
expect miracles. We have to back our thinking with hard work, follow through and determination. We are all destined for success and can all get there if we believe we can. We have to put action behind our beliefs, and add a touch a patience to our perseverance. Many people become
impatient when their positive thinking doesn’t immediately manifest success. That is because positive thinking, not
backed by hard work, reduces positive thoughts to a wish.

2. Goal-digger.
To develop a winning attitude we must experience winning.
For this reason we need to create agendas backed by achievable goals set with target dates for their achievement.
My amazing business coach Dr. Dave White tells me we overestimate what we can achieve in a year, but largely
underestimate what we can achieve in five years. In our sessions we goal set, explore, plan and achieve something each week. Small achievable goals motivate and inspire us towards our larger goals. Each goal achieved builds confidence and makes the journey towards success
enjoyable.

3. Be a 'passionator'.
To be successful in all areas of life, we have to love what we do. Waking up to a career we feel no passion for will not
provide well for us emotionally, even if it provides for us financially. The growth we can experience, personally and financially will be limited when we feel we are just going through the motions to make money. The greatest successes love what they do, and know that what they do spans larger than their own self-interest. It is when we see that what we do makes a positive, and significant difference in the lives of others that we most want to jump out of bed in the morning.

4. Gracious.
When we live with grace instead of entitlement we do not expect anyone to do the hard work for us. We do all we can
to propel our success forward. We are not afraid of the hard work required of us to succeed. No one owes us anything.
There is nothing more career crushing than an entitled person. They are poor relationship builders, self-centered,
tend of bully and are some of the biggest complainers in the corporate world. We must have patience, be gracious, help
others, and ask for help when we need it. We must commit to working hard, being thankful and accepting that things
are often unfair. We accept if there are goals to be achieved,
we must depend upon ourselves to get them done.

5. Keep good company.
We are a direct reflection of the company we keep.
Emotions and attitudes are contagious. For this reason we should make it a point to avoid, or largely decrease, the
interactions we have with people who are jealous, overtly negative, defeatist or who gossip. We cannot get anywhere
when we carry this type of an emotional infection. We must fill our lives with people who are confident, supportive,
happy, optimistic, realistic, hardworking and motivated.
This type of energy propels our movement forward.

6. Grit.
Success is always about persistence, determination and the stubbornness to never give up. Setbacks and rejections are a part of any great endeavor, so we must stay driven and optimistic. Rejections and setbacks are what help us explore,
grow, solve our problems and increase our knowledge to do better going forward. When we have a winning attitude we
see that failures are opportunities, not insurmountable problems. They are springboards to further success
and direct us to the places where we need growth and reinvention.

7. Believe in yourself.
We have to focus on developing and working on our unique strengths in order to develop a strong belief in ourselves.
We have to step outside of what is familiar for the sole purpose of increasing our self-knowledge and personal development. There is not a perfect person out there, so we must remain humble and inspired to work on improving our shortcomings, while not punishing ourselves over them. We can learn ways to work with them, such as delegating out, rather than letting these aspects of ourselves bring us down
down. We have to faith in who we are.

8. Be inspired.
Read. All the great successes read. It’s amazing the type of inspiration that can come from reading about other inspiring people. We must spend our time with people who inspire us, and model what they do in their lives in our own
lives. Inspiration can be found from family members and loved ones. It is important to look for relationships which
inspire us to be better; seek out coaches, therapists and teachers. We can also find a deep sense of inspiration through helping and serving others.

9. Good health.
Being in excellent physical condition generates a tremendous amount of positive energy. We are a physical,
emotional, mental and spiritual being. If our physical body is not healthy it directly decreases our emotional, mental
and spiritual health. When we are physically active our bodies produce the feel good chemicals which effectively
medicate stress, anger or despair. For this reason we need to take care of our basic physical needs, not just because it is
the source of true wealth, but because it generates us to carry a positive vibe about us.

10. Social support.
We live up or down to the expectations and/or beliefs others hold of us. Those people who express their belief and faith
in us, our purpose and our agenda in this world serve to deeply motivate us to continue on our mission with a sense
of purpose and passion. The faith and belief to come from others, whether that be our manager, our family, friends,
our coach, or those we manage serve to keep us on our toes and move us deeply into our personal commitment to our
careers.
The stronger we gear our thoughts and actions towards success, the more quickly we develop it. It isn’t about pretending bad times don’t exist. It is about focusing our
minds on the opportunities which can come from our bad days. When we have an unshakable belief in ourselves
we posses a deep knowing that we have what it takes to overcome and continue to achieve. Once we achieve consistent positive beliefs in ourselves, our potential
exponentially increase. We learn that obstacles are the experiences we need to further train ourselves to grow, remain flexible and move forward with a deeper sense of knowledge. Winston Churchill said, “ The pessimist sees
difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the
opportunity in every difficulty.”

Passion and Reason

“If passion drives you, let reason hold the reins.”
—Benjamin Franklin

Passion.
What a thing.
It’s that adrenaline pump that wakes you up in the middle of the night with a vast idea -- one that will be the next (insert
something big here). But here’s the catch: Passion also causes insomnia. It overrides your saner instincts. It is fully absorbing. Passion is chocolate cake: You can’t subsist on it alone. You have to know when to give passion a break.
You have to know when reason should step in.
I admit: I’m not very good at toggling between the two. I’m mostly stuck on passion -- speeding my motorcycle down a winding road, traveling until I’m run ragged, staying in an industry I adore (print magazines!) even as the rest of the
world tells me I’m nuts. As an entrepreneur, I know you’re with me: You, too, struggle to balance passion with reason.
After all, passion is what got you this far. Now we both have to figure out how to let our saner instincts in, too.
Passion slams the gas; reason steers us safely. Passion throws us out of an airplane; reason pulls the parachute
cord. Passion made you launch a business; reason, I suspect, made you pick up this magazine. And in this issue, you’ll find people attempting this balance in real time -- people who are fueled by their passions, who took gigantic risks
and now are making it work.

We do this issue every year. Truth be told, I cringe at our annual title: “Young Millionaires.” I love celebrating people
for their passions, and so the focus on money just feels...tacky. But you know what? It’s OK. It’s a catchy
phrase. (See how I’m embracing reason?) And these young entrepreneurs’ financial strength is only emblematic of their
larger success: They have passion and reason. The perfect package.

You’ll meet Connor Franta , a kid who quit college to pursue the insane dream of being a YouTube star and is now
plotting an even bigger move.
There’s David Choi, who poured all his money into a taco truck, and Tara Reed , who built an app without knowing how to code. And there’s more! The collective horsepower of the next generation of
entrepreneurs is always fascinating, and I know you’ll take inspiration no matter what age you are.
But we don’t want to forget the lessons only a seasoned and veteran entrepreneur can tell, which is why we also visit with Roxanne Thurman, the 66-year-old proprietress of Cry Baby Ranch , an iconic cowboy store in downtown Denver.
Her wisdom is not only ageless; it’s priceless.
Be inspired . Stay up late planning and plotting. And then, please, get some sleep. You need to be fresh tomorrow.

YOU MUST PAY THE PRIZE

Proverbs  24:30 I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;  24:31 And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down.  24:33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:  24:34 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.

Nothing changes until we change it.
Nothing works until we work them.
Until a force is applied, an object will remain and continue if in motion in it's current position.
Many lives has been overtaken with thorns and nettles because of irresponsibility.
Many destinies has been broken down because of irresponsibility.
Many have left their field and vineyard unattended to.
Things slips away from the hands of sleepers.
To love sleep is to become like slippers- slippery. unstable and without fiction.
To fold your hands and do nothing is to be folded away in life.
Change is constant: Yes! but even change itself cannot change change. It must be anticipated for.
To lie down and resign to fate  a man had said, is madness.
And  like it's said, "only a madman can go to sleep with his roof on fire".
When the mountain is on fire, is not time to relax, is not time to sleep, is not time to accuse and blame, is not time to fold hands and complain and become confused. Is time to act. It's time to run.
To see a Lion coming and wait to see if she will eat you up is foolishness raise to power two because you won't live to tell the story.
Responsibility is the price for greatness.

How have you kept your vineyard and field?
That business, that office, that job, that idea, that dream, that marriage etc...how have you kept it. Have you allow thorns and nettles to overtake them.
Are you relax, waiting upon time or you are working with time?
Are you believing and hoping on God or are you accepting and sharing responsibility with God in accordance to His word?
Are you blaming the economy, the government and everyone around you or you are finding out ways and means to make it better so your economy and country can be better?
Wake up Nigerians. Wake up
Wake up great giant of Africa and lets roar and conquer.

If you don't make it work, who else will?
Lets arise and respond to the abilities God has deposited in us and we will experience the great manifestation of His power and grace.

EVERY BELIEVER HAS THE GOD-KIND OF FAITH

Book Description

November 26, 2014
Every believer has the God-kind of faith, what we don’t have, is the God-kind of work that makes the God-kind of faith to work. This book is an enlightenment program to help believers grow in faith and move forward to a greater level of their spirituality. And so, it highlights the needs and importance of works, the works of faith. For faith without work is dead (James 2:26)  Your inability to move mountain is not as a result of your little faith as every great product is not measure by the quantity but by the quality. There are too many believers who are wandering in the wilderness and not enjoying the fullness of what God has provided for them. And so, the purpose of this book is to show believers how powerful we are, how effective our words can be and how we can move mountains by our little faith. Many Christians lament on their lack of faith. Every believer has the God-kind of faith is an eye opener to help every believer enjoy the good things of life as God has designed from creation.

THE MISFORTUNATE BECAME FORTUNATE

A MUST READ!
THE MISFORTUNE BECAME FORTUNATE( OPRAH WINFREY)
The Queen of all media who was
raped at age 9: Oprah Winfrey
Best known for her multi-award winning talk show.
The Oprah Winfrey
Show — the highest-rated program of its kind in history —Oprah Winfrey is
dubbed as the ‘Queen of all
media’ and ranked as the richest African-American of the 20th century.
She was born into poverty in rural Mississippi, to an unmarried
teenage mother. who later said
that her conception was due to a
single sexual encounter and the
couple broke up not long after.
Her mother, Vernita Lee was a housemaid. Winfrey
had believed that her biological
father was Vernon Winfrey, a coal miner turned barber
turned city councilman who had
been in the Armed Forces when
she was born.
Decades later, Mississippi farmer and World War II veteran Noah Robinson, sr. claimed to be her
biological father. She was later raised in an inner-city Milwaukee neighborhood.
After Winfrey's birth, her mother
traveled north and Winfrey spent
her first six years living in rural
poverty with her maternal
grandmother, Hattie Mae (Presley)
Lee who was so poor that
Winfrey often wore dresses made
of potato sacks, for which the local
children made fun of her.
Her grandmother taught her to
read before the age of three and
took her to the local church,
where she was nicknamed "The
Preacher" for her ability to recite
Bible verses. When Winfrey was a
child, her grandmother would hit
her with a stick when she did not
do chores or if she misbehaved in
any way.
Winfrey has stated she was
molested by her cousin, uncle, and
a family friend, starting when she
was nine years old, something she
first announced to her viewers on
a 1986 episode of her TV show
regarding sexual abuse . At 13, after suffering years of
abuse, Winfrey ran away from
home. When she was 14, she
became pregnant but her son died shortly after birth. She began going to
Lincoln High School ; but after
early success in the Upward
Bound program, was transferred to
the affluent suburban Nicolet
High School, where she says her
poverty was constantly rubbed in
her face as she rode the bus to
school with fellow African-
Americans, some of whom were
servants of her classmates'
families. She began to steal money
from her mother in an effort to
keep up with her free-spending
peers, to lie to and argue with her
mother, and to go out with older
boys. Her frustrated mother once again
sent her to live with Vernon in
Nashville, Tennessee, though this
time she did not take her back.
Vernon was strict, but
encouraging, and made her
education a priority. Winfrey
became an honors student, was
voted Most Popular Girl, and
joined her high school speech
team at East Nashville High
School, placing second in the
nation in dramatic interpretation.
She won an oratory contest,
which secured her a full
scholarship to Tennessee State
University, a historically black
institution , where she studied
communication. Her first job as a
teenager was working at a local
grocery store. At age 17,
Winfrey won the Miss Black
Tennessee beauty pageant.
She also attracted the attention of
the local black radio station,
WVOL, which hired her to do the
news part-time. She worked
there during her senior year of
high school, and again while in
her first two years of college.she landed a
job in radio and began co-anchoring
the local evening news at the age of
19. She got transferred to the
daytime-talk-show arena because of
her emotional ad-lib delivery.
She became a millionaire at age 32
when her talk show went national.
She is credited with creating a more
intimate confessional form of media
communication. Forbes’ international
rich list has listed her as the world’s
only black billionaire from 2004 to
2006 and as the first black woman
billionaire in world history. As of
2014, she has a net worth in excess
of 2.9 billion dollars and has
overtaken former eBay CEO Meg
Whitman as the richest self-made
woman in America.
"If you wouldn,t quit, you wouldn,t lose. If you wouldn,t give up, you will get up" just try, whether you are crawling, walking, runing or flying, don,t stop, keep moving you will surely get there in just a matter of time. Be patience.

secret of abundance

The Secret Of Abundance
And Why So Many Believe They Can't Have It

By Chuck Danes
The Secret Of Abundance is often thought of by many as a "secret" or that it's just not possible.

And you know, it never ceases to amaze me when talking with people regarding living life to the fullest, the broad and diverse range of responses I receive due to how people perceive that it must happen. Due to how most think it must happen, is perhaps the greatest reason why most never experience abundance for themselves.

When it comes to money, the majority believe that you must work longer, harder, or be luckier than the next person if you are to ever achieve any type of financial security. It is a common belief that "money is hard to come by," or "money doesn’t grow on trees."

Although I have never actually seen a money tree, the concept of wealth creation is much easier than most can even conceive or imagine. And that's where the problem lies. In what most are choosing to conceive and imagine.

The reality is that money is at it's core, the same as everything else. On the surface, money is nothing more than a medium of exchange. And like everything else, money can be quite simply and quite easily be attracted if one knows and understands the simple laws and principles that are responsible for drawing it to us.

Obviously money isn’t the only aspect of living a wholesome, fulfilling and abundant life, although many will disagree.

To live a truly abundant life, there are actually 3 areas that are essential if one is to really enjoy life to the fullest.

These 3 key areas are Money, Health, and Relationships.

With that in mind let's talk about money.

If you had $30,000,000.00 but your health was such that you couldn’t get out of the house to enjoy it, it would have little value. If you had the same amount of money and phenomenal health but no one to share it with, it would be nothing but worthless paper.

By the same token, if you were absolutely broke, enjoyed healthy relationships and outstanding health, it would be impossible to fully enjoy all the things that money can buy and do for those you love whatever you would like whenever you'd like. Correct?

It’s true that the majority in the world, perceive that lack and/or limitation in one or more of the three key areas of life is just how things are.

Many hope for it. Many more wish for it. Others dream about it but true abundance is only enjoyed by the minority.

But why is that? There certainly is no lack whatsoever.

With regard to money, it has been estimated that if the worlds wealth were divided among the people of the world equally, there would be enough for every single person alive, children included, to live in a 3000 square foot home and have $7,000,000.00 in cash!

Why is it that some seem to have more than they could possibly need, while others scrape by from day to day just to pay the bills and keep food on the table?

Actually, the answer is quite simple, and the simplicity of it will astound you. And that's part of the problem as well. The simplicity. Many shun the concept based on and due to the simplicity behind it all.

And as a result MOST never experience the abundance that is everyone's birthright.

Do you know what the reason is? It’s called thoughts and emotions. These 2 incredibly powerful aspects of your mind are what determines what you have or don’t have. Are the difference between living a life of overflowing abundance or barely getting by.

How can that be? Beliefs plain and simple. It is our beliefs that determine the quality of our thoughts and emotions. And that's what determines everything else.

Have you ever thought about why you believe what you believe? Have you ever considered where those beliefs came from?

All beliefs are established, for the most part, when we are just young children. They're handed down to us based on the experiences of our parents, and what they were taught and came to believe as being "true" in their life.

As life goes on, we accumulate and establish many more beliefs based on who we associate with, what our teachers tell us, the type of church we attend and what our particular religion teaches us is real, right, and true.

And life begins to unfold pretty much as we believe it will. But does it make it true? Does an experience or series of experiences make what we believe definitively true?

NO!!

One of the ancient texts makes it very clear. "As we believe we receive."

We solidify these beliefs when something happens in our life that supports what we were taught, regardless of their validity, and they then become our reality. Once this happens it becomes a deeply embedded memory picture which leads to an endless circle; a "seemingly inescapable" cycle as we experience the same results over and over and over again.

Many people believe that the occurrences that happen in their day to day lives happen because that is "Just the way life is." And for them that becomes and in many cases remains absolutely true. They remain "seemingly trapped" within the very same "seemingly inescapable cycles" proclaiming that life is a struggle is "true."

What many fail to realize is that the reason that these things happen as they do is because that is what they are attracting to themselves through their belief system.

That is how our universe was created as well as how it continues to expand, thrive and exist. And is all very simple. It has been proven scientifically, and known and talked about for thousands of years by the mystics, sages, masters and many lay people in the spiritual circles.

Many man made religions of today teach that you must do certain things or act in certain ways if you are to accomplish or accumulate. Basically, that you must be good.

We're told and taught what "good is" and we're told and taught what "bad" is. We're told and taught a lot of things. And we believe them.

In many cases, as we engage in life, our conscious mind consistently searches for memory pictures that are of limitless capacity and over time are safely tucked away in the data storehouse referred to as the subconscious mind.

The conscious mind searches for these "learned ways of being" which are further supported, solidified and validated by our life encounters and what turn out to be real life experiences.

And the conscious mind always does what it was designed to do and searches to find a record that has been stored at some point in the past. Many times these memory pictures are retrieved from many years prior gong all the way back to birth.

previously taught to us by well meaning parents or loved ones, teachers, governments, institutions, the list goes on and on. And although much of what we're told, taught and at some point believe that determine our established beliefs which we act out and carry with us through life.

And it's those beliefs combined with the many experiences we encounter which lie at the foundation of everything we attract in the way of events, conditions, circumstances, relationships, etc etc. and with unfailing and unwavering certainty manifest in our lives making our reality all the more real and true.

But much of what we've been taught isn't based on a Higher Truth. Yet at the same time, Higher Truth always provides what we believe it will.

The point?

The only "secret to abundance" is making a conscious choice to develop and establish a Higher Truth than the one acquired and currently held.

Many doubt the validity and simplicity only because it goes against the common belief systems that have been established and which they been taught to believe as being true.

In an attempt to validate what I am sharing, I’ll use the following example…

Many are familiar with the name, Roger Bannister. For those that aren’t, Mr. Bannister is the man that broke the all time record of running a 4 minute mile, on May 6th 1954.

Until the time that he accomplished that incredible feat, it was believed to be Impossible, and beyond a humans limited capacity to do so. Even psychologists said that it was beyond human comprehension or any humans ability to do so.

That was the common belief of that day, and so it was.

That is until Roger Bannister came along, who broke the previous world record, and finished in an amazing 3 minutes 59.4 seconds!

Once it was found that such a thing actually could be accomplished, that record has since been broken many times! The most recent in 2001 in an incredible 3 minites 43.13 seconds, by Hicham El Guerrouj.

How Is That Possible!? According to the world, even 4 seconds wasn’t possible. It was impossible. According to the most respected psychologists of Bannister’s day, it was Impossible. And so it was. Until someone had established the belief; the Higher Truth that it could be done, it was impossible.

Until someone had established a strong enough belief that would change history, it was and remained impossible. Since that day in 1954, many have seen that it was possible and had the desire and ability to shed the self limiting belief that held them to that limiting belief. Many since have broken that impossible record!

I could reference hundreds if not thousands of cases in all walks of life that support what is being conveyed, but I don’t have room within this article.

Look at your own life. You don’t have to be a track star to create whatever it is that you desire in your life. You don’t have to be someone else to achieve whatever you desire and enjoy more abundance in your life than you could have ever previously imagined. You don’t have to be anything other than yourself.

So what is the secret to abundance? Great news. There isn’t one. There never has been. With the exception of choosing to enhance what you believe to be true.

All that is necessary to attract all the abundance you could ever hope for, is for you to shed the self limiting beliefs that you have adopted, accepted and allowed to be stored as your truth. All that is required is that you develop an awareness of the overflowing abundance and unlimited potential provided to you by the Source of all that is or ever will be whatever you might perceive that Source to be.

The only thing required to attract whatever you desire, is that you become aware of the importance of retraining the subconscious mind.

All that is needed, is for you to change your beliefs about what is possible for you.

You have the power to choose what to believe. You have the power to choose what to think.

Change your beliefs and you will change your world.

Here's The Secret of Having Everything You Want By Guy Finley

Here's The Secret of Having Everything You Want
By Guy Finley

Everyone wonders whether or not there is one great secret for truly successful living. There is. And it is not a secret. It has been quietly, steadily telling itself right in front of us all along. We just couldn't hear it over the clatter and chatter of our own secret demands. Listen quietly for a moment. Everything can change right now. Learning to hear this supreme secret is no more difficult than choosing whether to swim against a current or to let it carry you safely to the shore. Let it speak its wisdom to that secret part of you that can not only hear what it is saying but that is, in reality, its very voice. Listen to it now. It is saying, "Want What Life Wants." Think about it. Locked within these four simple words is the secret of an uncompromising power for effortless living; a new kind of power that never fails to place you on the winning side of any situation. Why? Because when you want what Life wants, your wish is for Life itself.
"What if I don't like what life brings to me?"
"Try to see that it is not what life has brought to you that you don't like. It is your reactions that turn the gift of life into the resentment of it."
"I don't want to sound ungrateful, but speaking plainly, I'm tired of being unhappy. What difference does it make why I feel this way?"
"Because these unhappy feelings are born out of life failing to conform to your ideas of what you need to be happy. This shows you, if you will see it, that Life itself isn't denying you happiness. It is your ideas about life that have failed you. Give up these wrong ideas instead of giving up on life. Be increasingly willing to see they are nothing but a constant source of conflict. Your false nature will tell you that you must have these self-protecting ideas; that you can't live without them or you will lose something valuable. What you must do, in spite of any such protest to the contrary, is to see that you can't live with them. All you will lose is your unhappiness."
Here are two lists that will not only make these life-healing ideas more personal for you, but they will help you to help yourself make a higher choice when it comes to what you really want from life. It would be valuable to study then compare the lists to each other. You may wish to add to either list some of your own insights, which I highly encourage you to do.
Let's look at what happens "When You Want What You Want":
1. You are often nervous and anxious because life may not cooperate with your plans.
2. You are willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to get what you want, and this may include your integrity.
3. You are usually scheming in some way to win your next victory.
4. You are either in a battle or recovering from one.
5. You are unable to rest quietly when you need to.
6. You are easily angered when someone or something gets in your way.
7. You are forever driven to want something else.
8. You are against anyone else who also wants what you want.
9. You are certain that what you have is who you are.
10. You are always trying to convince yourself that you got what you want.
Now carefully consider the following. "When You Want What Life Wants":
1. You are never disappointed with what happens.
2. You are always in the right place at the right time.
3. You are quietly confident no matter what the circumstances.
4. You are out of the reach of anger and anxiety.
5. You are awake and sensitive to your surroundings.
6. You are free of ever feeling as though you've missed out.
7. You are never thrown for a loss.
8. You are in total command of events.
9. You are mentally quiet.
10. You are eternally grateful.
"Is there a simple guideline to follow when it comes to distinguishing between what Life wants and what I want? How can I easily tell which is which?"
"Always remember the following. If any want is the source of anxiety or sorrow, that want is yours and not Life's. If the want has pain, it is in vain. To let real Life flood in, pull yourself out of the flood of self-wants that promise a future pleasure but only deliver a present pain."
"How do I pull myself out of the flood of my own wants?"
"See that you are being washed away by them and you will grow tired of being bounced along. Here is a key. Never accept the presence of any mental or emotional suffering as necessary, no matter how much importance these impostors lend to a particularly pressing want. By refusing their dark presence, you make space for the present moment to give you its indefinable presence. This is where the Life that you want -- and that wants you -- is waiting."
"All of what you have said makes good sense. To tell the truth, I would like to let go and let Life lead, but I'm afraid. What will happen to me if I give up my demands? Won't I lose control of my life?"
"You cannot lose control of something you never had control over in the first place. No human being controls life -- his or hers or anyone else's. If it weren't for higher cosmic energies coming down, filling and animating your body right now, you couldn't be holding this book in your hands or reading its words. If you want to measure the level of an individual's stress, measure his insistence that life does as he wants. The only thing you will lose by learning to want what life wants is your fear of not being in control -- which was never real control in the first place but only the sensation of it born out of living with its painful opposite."
Here is the most important point of all. No human being needs control over life because, in reality, no one is apart from it. Who you really are, your True Nature, is not separate from life.
Let Life bring you itself. Welcome it. At each instant, it is new, full -- untouched and undiminished by any moment before it. To enter into this full relationship with Life is to give yourself to your Self. Fulfilling the true purpose of Life is fulfilling yourself. Here are five special key lessons to help you want what Life wants.
1. Nothing can be released and resisted at the same time, which means that any attempt to reject some weakness detected in us is the same as protecting it.
2. True nobility is not a question of birth right or social rank; it is the native estate of each soul that, upon awakening to its divine inheritance, knows the strength of these twin truths without having to think about them: justice and mercy are one, as are love and fearlessness.
3. Nothing judges you; it is what you love -- and that love alone -- that either persecutes you, or stands by you in your hour of need.
4. Whoever serves what he or she fears has failed to see that all they win for their service is to become more fearful.
5. We can spend our time struggling, in vain, to make others into what we want them to be, or we can see the inherent flaw in thinking this way and -- rather than trying to change others to suit our needs -- see through the false idea that someone else is responsible for our fulfillment.

THE RUINED MAN WHO BECAME RICH THROUGH A DREAM

The ruined man who became rich again through a dream.

1001 NIGHTS- Translated by John Payne. Vol 4. (C)1884. (Pg 134-35)

There lived once in baghdad a very wealthy man who lost all his substance and became so poor that he could earn his living by excessive labor.
One night he lay down to sleep, dejected and sick at heart, and saw in a dream one who said to him, "thy fortune is at Cairo; go thither and seek it".
So he set out for Cairo But, when he arrived there, night overtook him and he lay down to sleep in a mosque, presently, as fate would have it, a company of thieves entered the mosque and made their way thence into an adjoining house; but the people of the house being aroused by the noise, awoke and cried out, whereupon the chief of the police came to their aid with his officers.
The robbers made off but the police entered the mosque and finding the man from baghadad asleep there, laid hold of him and beat him with palm-rods, till he was well nigh dead. Then they cast him into prison where he abode three days after which the chief of the police sent for him and said to him;
"whence art thou?" "from baghdad" answered he. "And what brought thee to magistrate" quote the Baghdadi " i saw in a dream one who said to me, thy fortune is at Cairo; go thither to it but when i came thither, the fortune that he promise were prove to be the beating i had of thee."
The chief of the police laugh, till he showed his jaw teeth and said, "o man of little wit, thrice have i seen in a dream one who said to me, there is in baghdad a house of such a fashion and salute so-and -so in the garden, whereof is a fountain and there under a great sum of money buried. Go thither and take. 'yet i went not; but thee of thy little wit hast journeyed from place to place on the faith of a dream, which was but an illusion of sleep"
Then he gave him money saying "this is to help thee back to thy native land"
Now the house he had described was the man's own house in Baghdad; so the latter returned thither and digging underneth the foundation in his garden, discover a great treasure and (thus) God gave him abundant fortune.

LESSONS!!!
God in the old, usually speak to men through dreams. And God has not change, he's still the same and he still does that till now.

1. Believe in your dreams.
2. What you need is in you and around you. Many tends to look outward rather than look inward. A wise man said "you can make it from were you are with what you have", look inward!
3) Never despise or overlook a dream.
4. When God gives you a vision, a dream or an idea, when you fail to worked on it or trade it (matt 25v14-29) he takes it from you and gives it to another. Never neglect your dreams, vision or idea. Every vision has an appionted time and place (habk 2v3) if not pursue will be loose
5. No matter how big your dream, vision or idea, it will be tested and tired, if its a gold. But be persistent, never give up. Challenges will come on the way, but always remember that to claim your promise land, you must cross the red sea, and you must fight with the inhabitance. Before every david, there is a goliath, so runing away from challenges is runing away from your crown and throne. So face it, fight it, if its God that gave you the vision, then the victory is your already.
6. Also note you have to take actions, to go and to seek.
7. You will be mock. Until you are mocked, you can,t be made.
Finally, if you have a dream, pursue it till you get it. GOODluck.

Advice dad gave me that shaped my life–Doris Gam-Dede.

Advice dad gave me that shaped my life–Doris Gam-Dede.

Advice dad gave me that shaped my life–Doris Gam-Dede
Tell us about your background
My name is Doris Gam-Dede.  I am from Bayelsa State. I was born into a family of three sisters and a brother. I was also born a twin. I attended the University of Port Harcourt where I first bagged a certificate  in Theatre Arts. That same year I applied and got an admission into same university to study Fine Arts  and Design. After four years of study, I  practised my profession for four years with three sole exhibitions tagged, Celebration of Womanhood, where I saluted women who have helped change my life, and have done very well in their fields of endeavours.
They are the like of the former First Lady, the late Mrs. Stella Obasanjo, Fifi Ejindu, Joke Silver, Mrs. Ruth Benamesia-Opia, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Madam Doris Fisher, among many others. After which, I became bored and found myself wanting more. This finally led me to start making clothes.

You won the young designer award recently, what influenced this?
It was a well put together show that met international standard. This was the first time I heard international added to a name in Nigeria and it lined up to the expectation. From the organising, the whole event started and finished well to an international level. I thank God for it because it actually brought someone outside Port Harcourt to know my design. I wouldn’t lie, there were many talented designers that showed up. I knew it was going to be a problem choosing the winner but I distinguished my clothes from other designers by adding beauty and a lot of colours to my clothes and I think that was how the judges picked me out. I introduced my artistic background into the clothes and that actually pulled me out of the crowd.

What kind of design do you make?
I do wearable clothes for urban chic, you can wear them any moment. I actually design for women.

For how long have you been designing?
I have been doing this for four years. I studied Fine Arts. I practise painting. It took me another four years to get into designing and I’m really happy that one of my prizes is a scholarship abroad to study because I will proudly say that among the designers, I was the only one who didn’t get formal training. I started fashion just at the back of my own hand. I’m happy that now I will get the chance of an international training. I thank God that it all worked out for good for me.

No formal training, how did you start?
I actually see myself as being blessed with my hands. I have done it all. I have done painting, interior decorations, I just finally settled in fashion because it’s now a big thing in Nigeria if you know what you are doing. I started learning how to sew by pulling out things that people have done before, especially ready made clothes, pulling them apart and putting them together.

Why did you choose the name ‘Jazz Effect’ as your brand?
Adding to the fact that I am an artist, I love music. When the word Jazz came, it came from rhythm, music and people who know me when I was in school knew I like to form circles. That was how I learnt how to sew. I would have a pair of jeans; I would rip one part off and add ankara. I will never wear my clothes the way I brought them from the shop. The effect came from that explanation. I used rhythm, music, Jazz, and then I added effect to it.

Could you tell us about your growing up days?
I grew up in the streets of Port Harcourt where not much was expected of a young girl. Most girls of my age had just prayed to finish secondary school so that a rich man will come along to marry them, but at that young age, I knew I wanted more out of life. I knew I wanted to be a boss, never waiting to work for any one. My dad, who was a strong figure in my life, had always told me and my sisters to work hard and be successful because  nothing was going to be handed to us. It stuck with me and made me who I am today.

What are your memorable moments?
The most memorable moment in my life was when I lost my dad. I say that because he was my hero, and he is not there to enjoy the fruits of his labour.

How do you see your brand in the next five years?
I see Jazz Effect doing more international shows, giving me the opportunity to showcase Nigerian fabric to broader audience. As an entrepreneur, I believe you must be ready to work hard, make good business risk to take your  business to the next level.
